ACCOMMODATIONS FOR TRANSITIONAL AIRCRAFT
FAQ for transitional pilots:
- There is no landing fee.
- There is an overnight tie-down fee of $5/night or $40/month.
- Our FBO is open 9am to 5pm, or by appointment, seven days a week. Visitors have access to a lounge area, bathrooms, and small kitchen during that time frame.
- Fuel (Avgas or Jet-A) is currently only available from 8am to 5pm (Monday-Friday), 9am to 5pm (Saturday-Sunday) or by appointment.
At the moment Costa's does not offer a courtesy vehicle. If a pilot or small group needs a ride to somewhere in the vicinity, then one of the Costa's crew is happy to drive you if our schedule allows. Uber, Lyft, and taxi service are all available out of the Corning/Elmira area. A ride to Corning from Costa's will cost in the range of $9 to $20 from one of these services. There are also several rental car companies nearby, with Enterprise being the closest. Here are some resources:
